1. Open Outlook
2. Click Tools on the the top menu bar
3. In the resulting sub-menu under Tools, Click Accounts
4. Click Mail tab
5. Click Add - indicated by the arrow above.
6. Click Mail
7. Complete the following
a. Display name - is the name you want to appear when someone receives email from you.
b. E-mail address - enter your email address in full
(i.e. username@yourdomain.com)
c. Incoming Mail Server - Enter "mail.yourdomain.com"
d. Outgoing Mail Server - Enter the sendmail server of your ISP, SMTP server.
e. Account Name - enter your email address at
(i.e. username@yourdomain.com)
f. Password - Enter the password for the email account
g. Connect Method - Select the method that you use to connect to the Internet.
h. Click Finished
Once the above steps have been successfully completed attempt to send yourself an email. Open Outlook, send a new email message. Type your email address in the TO box (i.e. username@yourdomain.com) Type a test message and then click send. Make sure the message has been sent by opening your "outbox". If the message is still there click the send and receive option from the menu. Once the message is sent wait 30 seconds or so then click the send and receive button again. The message should appear in your Inbox.
