Eudora Mail Windows Personalities configuration
Setting up Eudora is easy if you have the right information. You
will need to look through the information you got from your
Internet Service Provider or give them a call and find out the following
information. Once you have it, you are ready to set up Eudora.
Use this form to fill in what you need and save it for future reference.
Your POP or mail server: mail.yourdomain.com
Your SMTP or outgoing mail server:
Your e-mail login name: username@yourdomain.com password:
Your e-mail address: username@yourdomain.com
Step 1 In Eudora, go to the Tools menu and select
OPTIONS.
Step 2 In the REAL NAME field, type your name
the way you would like people to see it when they get email from
you.
For example, John Doe.
Step 3 In the RETURN ADDRESS field, enter your
email address. For example: username@yourdomain.com.
Step 4 In the MAIL SERVER (INCOMING) field, enter
the POP or mail server that was given to you by your
Internet Service Provider. For example: mail.yourdomain.com
Step 5 In the LOGIN NAME field, enter the complete
email address given to you by your Email Administator.
For example: username@yourdomain.com.
Step 6 In the SMTP SERVER (OUTGOING) field, enter
the SMTP or Outgoing mail server that was given
to you by your Internet Service Provider. For example: smtp.yourisp.com
Step 7 Click OK. This completes the basic setup - you should now be able to send and receive email in Eudora.
