How do I set different permissions to files and directories?
Permissions can be set with most FTP programs, for more
advanced users. Understanding Owner, Group and World attributes
were 1- execute, 2- read and 4-write permissions for your files
and directories.
How do I set mail forwarding options?

I can change my EmailAdmin password, how do
I change my FTP password?
Your FTP password can only be changed by the System Administrator,
best to send an email to support@vdomainhosting.com with contact
information.
How can I password protect directories.
Password authentication is done by the System Administrator,
best to allow time for this to happen, for creation of the .htaccess
file etc.
Why can't I get my CGI program to run?
Our servers will support any Perl 5 program or any executable
designed to be ISAPI compatible or specifically run on Internet
Information Server. Check that the program you are trying to run
is one of these. If it is a PERL program, make sure to have the
extension filename .pl For example a Perl program called counter
should be named counter.pl and not counter.cgi
Why can't I get my Form to send the results
via email?
Our FormMail.pl using CGI-LIB or the shared secure server must
use an email address inside the same domain the form is being
submitted from. If your form is in the domain www.yourwebsite.com
then the recipient address the results are sent to must be an
address in the same domain, user@yourwebsite.com
What type of SSL encryption is used?
Our version is Version 3
How do I setup anonymous FTP access?
Contact sales@vdomainhosting.com about adding your own FTP server
to your hosting plan.
What MIME types are supported?
All MIME types are supported, if you have need of a new one email

What is the URL for my website statistics?
Add /stats to the end of your web page's URL For example: www.yourdomain.com/stats
will work.
Why do I get "directory listing denied"?
If you type in the domain name and see the error "DIRECTORY LISTING
DENIED" our servers could not find a default page in the directory.
Our server looks first for index.htm, then index.html, then index.php
if the default can not be found you will receive the error.
Will I receive email billing invoices?
No, invoices are sent by regular mail. In special instances of
lost invoices a PDF copy can be prepared and sent as an attachment.
Is there a way to save money on the cost of the web site?
Prepaying for longer terms than monthly is one way.
How do I upgrade / downgrade my plan?
By email to support@vdomainhosting.com, send the domain name, the current hosting plan, the desired hosting plan, and what term commit the desired hosting plan will be under. An updated Service Schedule will be sent in PDF format for your signature as acceptance, and after signing fax or mail back to us at vDomainHosting.com
My web went over the allotted bandwidth transfer for the month, what happens?
Overages are charged at $6.00 per Gigabyte, per month.
My web went over the allotted storage for the month, what happens?
The owner removes the excess files in the allotted storage or
upgrades the website hosting plan.
What DNS server names should I use for my
domain hosted at vDomainHosting.com?
ns1.vdomainhosting.net is the primary and ns2.vdomainhosting.net
is the secondary DNS server name.
How does EZMLM handle bounced messages?
EZMLM automatically handles bounces in a manner that assures that
subscribers are not removed due to temporary failures, but at the same
time removes addresses that fail continuously (for more than 3 weeks).
